Welcome!

Since I'm no longer in NYC and not privvy to screenings, but I haven't lost my appreciation or enjoyment of movies, I've decided to try something a little different. I'm going to run this site as a blog and keep the other one (Murphy's Movie Reviews) as a sort of archives of the 10 years I was a working critic in Manhattan. I've got a lot of older reviews to add to that site and I'm going to use this site to blog about movies and TV shows that I've watched either on cable, on DVD or in theaters.

Also, I hope to provide some random comments on things related to the entertainment industry. I'd appreciate any feedback and I hope you enjoy the site.
